no sharks but some big ol' fish, the good, the bad, the ugly

It's great to fish with jd hammer as always, before he got me he was in the saint pete. area, took me over to west palm beach then we crossed the coast to venice and traveled north to tampa, saint pete. and an attempt to fort. desota that was never made because of a grave tragedy, but i'll shut up and let the pics do all the talking. MORE PICS FROM A DISPOSABLE CAMERA WILL BE ADDED LATER. the catch quota: 2 ridiculous snooks, 2 bonitas, 1 ridiculous jewfish, 2 bat rays before he picked me up, hammer with his wife's family:-jd might have to explain these pics, he wanted me to put them up though. oysters.... food: dance: Monster: Que?: guy in the back creepin' and the end of hammer's solo trip. Now For some fish lol, or at least one, more will come up later in a follow up report Got to venice pier and met some of the locals (james bois and john whidmann who just signed up with the sfsc but needs to be verified-help mods ) yakking into the sun is a secret hooking the big one at night is usual walking him down the pier is fun A tourist from indiana took the best pictures but having trouble loading them from facebook to photobucket so here are the best pics if interested on my wall in facebookjohn was a big help in the beaching and releasing of this monster might not be a world record but currently my 2nd and biggest jewfish tapping out somewhere around 250lbs and around 6ft Very interesting not gonna talk about it, but it's a fly reel for shark fishing basically trip was cut short from a bad accident and people waiting for us back at miami hope you all like the post, threw it together quick

Nice post Mark thanks for the humor and JD family pics,,,,,,,sure looks like the "old man" is enjoying his brand new retirement( :mrgreen: golden years :lol: :lol: )Big Jewfish on the pier and lots of help is a good thing -I miss old south beach pier style shark fishing .

Hey Mark if you leave a rod at every pier you fish with Hammer you'll be rod less by the middle of summer.What accident and who?Everyone ok?
